It’s Cyber Monday!

Cyber Monday Sale neon thumbnail

Hello all and Happy Holidays!

I hope that you had a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.  Are you all gearing up for Christmas now?  Do you have your tree up yet?  This year, we’ve opted not to do a Christmas tree.  Our daughter is a wise one and said that it’s been stressful the past couple years and we should just find something simpler to do.  She’s an adult that loves Christmas as much as I do, but her words made sense.  We have a lighted ceramic tree (white) sitting on a little table that normally has to be put up at Christmas.  I put a tree skirt over the table and placed the tree in the center of it.  It’s actually really nice and comforting.  I still have my nativities everywhere!  I have so many different kinds and they’re all special to me.

Are you getting ready to keep the kids busy over Christmas break?  Or, are you looking for some ideas to do in class or at home until break starts?  Maybe you need something to have ready for the new year.  I have the perfect solution!  It’s time for Cyber Monday and all my shops are on sale for 20% off!

Cyber Monday

This year has gone by so fast.  I can’t believe that Thanksgiving has already come and gone.  I hope that you all are doing well and staying healthy.  I’ve been busy creating lots of new activities to help you and your kids with their religious education.  There’s many new things listed at The Treasured Schoolhouse and I hope that if you haven’t already seen them, that you’ll check them out soon.

Since the year has gone by so fast, and we’re past both Thanksgiving and Black Friday, it’s time for Cyber Monday!  Cyber Monday means that it’s time for a sale!

Cyber Sale up to 25% off

All of The Treasured Schoolhouse stores will be on sale for 20% off on 30 November and 1 December.  Yes….every single resource in my shops are on sale!  You can find The Treasured Schoolhouse at….

TeachersPayTeachers – 20% off plus an extra 5% off with code CYBER20

Made by Teachers – 20% off (I had trouble scheduling this one, so I’m not sure if it’s going to work or not.)

Teacher’s Dojo – 20% off

Amazon Ignite – 20% off  (Amazon automatically sets this one, so it starting depends on them.)

I want to tell you about a few new things at The Treasured Schoolhouse….

First, there’s the Our Lady (Marian) series that I’m working on.  When completed, there will be at least one pack per month of activities to do for Marian celebrations.  Currently available are the Queenship of Mary, Our Lady of Fatima, Our Lady of Sorrows, and several more!  I’m currently working on Our Lady of Guadalupe for her celebration in December.

Also for December is St. Nicholas Day and I have an activity pack for that.  There’s lots of things for kids of all ages to do.  Last year, I made a similar pack for St. Lucia Day.  Now that they’re both done, there’s a bundle available that include both packs and it’s 20% off the individual prices.  But guess what!?  With the Cyber Monday sale, you can get an additional 20% that already discounted price!

I’ve also been working on some Math Packs.  I made a new one for Halloween with candy corn and one for December/Christmas with candy canes.  I really had fun making those and hope that early learners love them as much as I do!

Some other new materials to note, I finished the “people in the Bible” series.  It now includes Fathers, Mothers, and Children in the Bible.  I love these resources!  I’ve also added to the “family tree” series by adding Noah and Adam.  There’s an Inside the Church Bingo Game and 3-Part Montessori Cards.

So please don’t miss this opportunity to grab some great deals!  I hope that you all have a very Happy and Blessed Holiday Season!

St. Nicholas and Advent

I can’t believe that it’s almost time for Advent already.  I’m starting to do my prep for my class and I like to do a simple activity with them to teach them the basic colors of Advent.

The Colors of Advent with St. Nicholas cover art

This year I decided to tie my introduction in with St. Nicholas.  It’s just as simple activity where they’ll each get a little card with the colors of each week and they have to color the card.  I’m giving this to all of you as a FREEbie in hopes that it’ll help introduce Advent into your setting as well.  Also included is a color version in case you just want to pass that out instead.

sample pages of "The Colors of Advent with St. Nicholas"

The cards really are perfect for any age level or even to pass out in church as an introduction to Advent.  And who doesn’t love St. Nicholas?  I hope that you enjoy and are a help to you.  If you’re interested in these cards, just click to….

New Year’s Resolutions

I’m excited to join in this link up….

New Year's Resolutions Banner

I don’t typically make resolutions.  I just don’t do it and for the most part, I don’t follow through.  I’m pretty good at setting goals though and working toward them.  So, when I saw this linky, I was looking forward to joining up because I know these are a few of the things that I know I need to work on.  My favorite saying and what keeps me striving for more and knowing that making mistakes is alright (and I hope that those around me “get it”)….

With that said, here’s my “resolutions” for 2016….

The focus of these pages are geared toward Catholic, as I used the New American Standard Bible (NASB). Any faith surely can use it though!!

Update and an Easter Sale!

I know that I haven’t blogged in forever. I truly do apologize for that!!  When life gets busy, I tend to give up blogging to allow for making time for other things.  I honestly will make an effort to blog more and keep you all updated on what’s going on.

I have a few things planned for the month of April, so be sure to keep an eye out here and follow my stores.  I just sent a note out to followers on TPT, so if you follow me there, you’ll see just a couple of upcoming events at The Schoolhouse.  The first thing is….

EasterSale1 FINAL

All of my Christian materials will be on sale for 15% off the entire Easter weekend.  The sale will run from 3 April to 6 April, so you’ll have plenty of time to stock up on those religious printables that you’ve had your eyes on!!  Also, as I always do with sales, I’ll be adding at least 1 new product during the sale.  Since this sale is on Christian items, that’s probably what I’ll be adding this weekend.

Let’s Talk Money

Yes, we really need to have this talk….for a couple of reasons!!  HAHA

First, I made a new product for President’s Day.  It’s called Making Money with Washington and Lincoln and it’s a ffg (file folder game) using money values that those 2 presidents are on.  That means 1 cent, 25 cents, $1, and $5.  It’s a complete game and is perfect for a math center or group play.

If you’d like this game, you can find it for $2 at….

The Schoolhouse @ Teachers Notebook or TeachersPayTeachers

Next, I’ve been doing some evaluating on the products that I have for sale.  I’ve gone through TPT and TN and lowered the price on several of my products.  I hope that this will help you find more reasonable priced printables to use at home or in your class.
