The Long Cold Winter

I’m back after a very long “break”!!  We had an absolutely crazy and hectic holiday season.  Then after the first of the year, we all got sick.  We had a very bad bronchitis that had the whole family down for the count.  We still have a cough, but we’re much better.

In my “down time”, I updated a ton of my files that I’ve created.  I had more than I remember and still have plenty to do.  I’ve really enjoyed finding all these things that I’ve made and can’t wait to share them here!!  Since today is Groundhog Day and he saw his shadow, which means 6 more weeks of winter, I decided I’d share my winter materials.  On top of that, here in OK, we had about 3″ of ice and that’s under 6″ of snow.  Crazy!!

Winter Badge

Here’s a list of the printables that you’ll find in the winter file….

  • 6 Coins Winter Fun Puzzle Cards – Match the amount of the 6 coins with the amount on the matching puzzle piece.
  • Winter Fun and Signs of Winter Mirror Cards – These work on symmetry skills.
  • Snowball! – This is my winter version of checkers.
  • Winter Fun CVC Puzzle Cards – Match the CVC word to the image of that word.
  • 3 Sets of Snowman Clothespin Cards – The cards work on matching shape to shape word, counting and matching the number of snowflakes to the numeral, and matching the color to the color word.
  • Winter Kids 3-Part Cards – Match the numeral, number word, and the amount of snowflakes.
  • Snowflake Shapes 2-Part Cards – Match the snowflake shape to the shape word.
  • Snow Fun Magnified – Use a magnifying glass to match the miniature image to the full size.
  • Winter Bingo – This is a bingo game for numbers 1-10.

If you’re interested in any of these printables, just click the image above.  You’ll be taken to the folder that contains all these files.  You can download all of them or just the ones that you want.

The clipart and graphics are from various sources.  Some of the artists are Denyse @ Scrappin’ Doodles, Katie Dupree, Graphics Factory, and Annette @ Kuntry Graphics.  Other images from internet sources and believed to be public domain and they are used for educational purposes without profit.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you enjoy all these free winter activities.  If you use my printables, please leave a comment or use the “contact” button in the right hand column.  I’d also appreciate it if you’d take a second to click the button below to vote for my blog.  I appreciate it and I continue to create by the feedback that I receive!!

Important Information About Files

Hello to all my blog readers!!

I wanted to inform you that all my downloads are NOT available right now.  I’ve had to remove them so that I can update them.  It seems that when I moved blogs and started uploading my files directly so that you’d have easier access, I made a huge mistake.

I was using an incorrect TOU page in the files.  However, that does NOT change the fact that my materials are for Personal Use Only (PUO) and shouldn’t be shared in other places.  My TOU are are clearly stated on the TOU page on this blog and the little info blurb at the bottom of every blog post.  So, I really appreciate you honoring the proper TOU despite my error to make things more available to you.

I’ll get the files uploaded as soon as possible and hope to have things working correctly again soon!!  Thanks for your understanding.

I have something just for YOU today!!  I was trying to keep busy while waiting for my daughter to call this afternoon and this idea sort of hit me.  Besides, I’m in the Halloween “spirit”!!

This is a mini coloring book for colors.  On each page, there’s one thing that you’d find on Halloween and the main color that it is.  It has the frequent words of can, I, and see.  There’s also each color including gray, tan, and pink.
