Shotbox

One of the plans that I have for the upcoming school year is to share more photos of my products in use. I typically post pictures on Instagram or my other social media, but I’d like for you, my readers, to be able to view them as well.

One of the ways that I plan on doing this is by using my Shotbox.  Shotbox is a photo light box. It makes taking images of printables and other things so easy!! You can click the ad below to check out the Shotbox and what it does. I might also add that they have some new features coming soon and I’m pretty excited about it!!

Here’s a couple photos that I took with mine, with no prep what-so-ever.  I was just playing around and didn’t really set things up for a professional look.  You’ll notice that I only used the blue background, but I got a set with other background colors included in it.

Here’s an item in my store, Snowball Fight Kindergarten (Primer) Sight Words.  This is a spelling mat and worksheet pack for the winter, but summer is a great time to cool down using it too!!  Here’s the photos of it….

The Shotbox can be used with a standard camera, tablet, or cell phone.  You can also adjust the amount of light.  I just played with it and had a fun, so I can’t wait to do more and really put a little time and effort into using it!!

I’ve been on the hunt for stock photos for awhile. I’ve found some really good free ones, but it’s always tricky with them. Pricing stock photos is outrageous!!

My Lenten Promise Activity

I know that I haven’t had anything special for you all lately.  Now that I’m starting my blog on my own domain, I think it’s time to get back on track!!  I have something for all of you, my loyal readers and followers.

This is a freebie for Lent.  I know we’re now into Holy Week, so there’s not much time left to use this.  However, it’s a great activity for the religious classroom or at home with the family.  This is a set of journal pages or a writing activity.  They come in 2 types of lines for a variety of ages/grades.  

You can write your promises on the lines for each aspect of Lent….prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.  It can be done daily, weekly, or just once during the Lent season.
