Hello all and a very Happy 2020 to you all! It has already been a busy new year for me….and I’m sure for many of you as well.
I want to start by talking about the bushfires in Australia. As you probably know, much of the land has been burned and many animals have been lost, not to mention the loss of life and homes. I want to do something to help the people of Australia.
For the month of January, for my resources with #austeacherBFR, the sales will be donated to Australia. The charity that I’ve chosen is Vinnies Bushfire Appeal. You can read more about them if you click here. I currently only have 2 resources as part of this fundraiser, but plan to add 1 more, if not 2 more. Again, all sales with #austeacherBFR will be donated to charity. If you’re not interested on those materials, I’d be happy to swap another resource that you do want to purchase and donate the sale from that. You can also search that hashtag on TpT to find all the resources that other teachers have for sale and are using to donate to their chosen Australian charity.
Thank you for considering helping me support this charity to help the people of Australia!
I hope that you all have a wonderful new year and are blessed!

We just had a month long theme in my group for habitats. Additionally, monthly we having animals by biome. This week we focused on rainforest animals. I decided to make some rainforest animal cards.
These cards have many uses. They are Montessori inspired and I used images of real animals. The cards could be used for flashcards. Or, they could be 3-part cards where you print out 2 sets and cut one of them apart and match them up to the full card. They could also be used for memory match or a number of other ways.
All the cards are the same format. Here’s a thumbnail view of one of the cards….

Today, I have a ten frame activity for you. The snowflakes in the ten frame are counted and matched to the snowman numeral and number word. I like to include both the numeral and number word because I really think it helps with association. I did these with the numbers 1-20 so you can use as many or as few of the cards as needed.

Here’s a brand new Thanksgiving activity!! This one is for Language Arts/English skills.
For this activity, the user will unscramble the letters on the sails of the Mayflower. All words will be CVCC or CCVC and a clue is given on each boat. As they unscramble the words, they can record their answers on the worksheet. This printable also includes an answer key.

Today, I have lots of printables for home or the classroom featuring Mr. Potato Head. There’s even a few Mrs. thrown in with it!!
First up, there’s a set of 5×7 posters. These include money, upper/lower case letters, numeral/number word, and colors.
There’s one set of flashcards for days of the week and months of the year. Mr. Potato Head’s face is used for a set of “label the color” cards. Mr. Potato Head as Superman and Mrs. Potato Head as Wonder Woman are a set of shape matching cards with a storage box. These are matching the shape to the shape word. Finally for the cards, there’s a set of alphabet clothespin cards to match the lower case letter to the upper case letter that Mr. Potato Head is holding.
You’ll also find a set of banners featuring Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head. These could be used for a themed party or to decorate your classroom!! To go along with that, there’s a large set of bingo cards featuring Mr. Potato Head (and a few Mrs. Potato Head) dressed in fun ways.
Lastly, there’s a set of memory cards that I previously shared in another post. These feature Mr. Potato Head wearing the gear of each of the NFL football teams. However, there are 2 teams missing as he wasn’t available that way or there’s no images available.
If you use these FREE printables, have any requests, or just want to let me know how you used this printable, please leave a comment and let me know. I’d also appreciate it if you’d click the button below to vote for my blog. (You can vote ONCE a day!!) I love feedback and I truly create by the input that I receive….thanks!!
