Clouds

I’m currently on Spring Break with my daughter and enjoying a little down time.  My promise to her was that I wouldn’t be online during this time so that we can do whatever we want on a whim and just have a real break!!

I did want to be able to share this week though, so I’ve scheduled a couple blog posts so that you all can download some goodies while I’m off having a good time!!  That said, I had a huge issue trying to upload my files to 4Shared, so if you go to download them, they may….or may not be there.  If they’re not, please leave me a comment and when I’m online at the end of Spring Break, I’ll see if I can fix any of the errors.

Today, I have a couple printables for clouds. The first is Layers of Clouds and it’s a mat to place images of the clouds in the appropriate altitude.  They are also labeled whether or not the cloud type has precipitation in them.  There’s also Types of Clouds Label Cards.  These cards have images of clouds and they have to be labeled with their correct cloud type.

I made these for my daughter, thinking that even through they’re somewhat simple for her age, she’d need to repeat the cloud types and layers over and over to get them down.  Her science book really focused on that this year.  I’m happy to say that she breezed right through and didn’t even need them, but I’m hoping that all of you can still benefit from them!!

Here’s a thumbnail view of parts to these cloud printables….

If you’re interested in these cloud printables, they can be found to purchase on TpT if you click here.

Lucky Money

I took a break and tried to get my creative juices flowing again after all the madness of having something for everyday of the week for Dr. Seuss and the contest.  I’m ready to move on again and get to making things!!

I realized that I was running out of time to create for St. Patrick’s Day, so that’s what I got to work on first!!  This is a set of 2-part cards called Lucky Money.  The amount on the pot of gold is matched to that value in coins.  These go up to 99¢ and use quarters, dimes, nickles, and pennies.

The coins are © US Mint.  Graphics and background © A-Manda Creation with permission.

Here’s a thumbnail view of some of the cards….

Seuss-icle Day 3: Dr. Seuss Writing Centers

For the third day of my “Seuss-icle Followers Contest” week, I have some writing sheets.  They’re not just writing though!!  They also include read, write, stamp, paste, and draw the titles of Dr. Seuss books.  Not all the skills on the same sheets for some variety.

ContestEnd-EnjoyFreebies byElaine

I shared a couple of these in my group and they were a huge hit with Dr. Seuss book titles and/or characters.  I also made a 3rd set that combines the skills on both of the other sets.  These are basically my version of a “write the room” for Seuss activity.  All sets will have “read”, “write”, and “draw”.  One will have “stamp”, one will have “paste” and the last will have “stamp and paste”.
