Yesterday was the first day of the Religious Education (CCD) class that I teach. Every year, my arrival/warm-up activity is a Biblical alphabet coloring page. This lets the kids arrive and get seated, then start on a little busy work while I take role and collect folders. For the most part in the 6 years that I’ve taught this class, I’ve rotated a couple books that I purchased. This year is different!!
I’ve created my own alphabet page. The images are hand-drawn by my wonderful husband. I added letter writing and the word from the Bible. The first one is “A is for Angel”.
Here’s a thumbnail view of some of the page….
The coloring book image was drawn by my husband and is © The Schoolhouse and © Commotion.
If you’re interested in this alphabet page, just….
Every week, probably on Thursday if time permits, I’ll be posting the newest alphabet page. There will be one for each letter and they will end at the end of our CCD school year.
If you use this printable, have any requests, or just want to let me know how you used them, please leave a comment and let me know. I’d also appreciate it if you’d click the button below to vote for my blog. (You can vote ONCE a day!!) I also have a “contact” button in the right column. I love feedback and I truly create by the input that I receive….thanks!!
