Meep!!

I had a request in my group for some printable activities for Beaker.  Beaker is one of the Muppets and he’s most seen in the science lab with Dr. Bunsen Honeydew.  He always says “MEEP”!!

The things that I created for Beaker are pretty standard.  There’s a set of 4 9-piece jigsaw puzzles.  I also made a set of “label the color” cards.  Finally, there’s a Beaker tic-tac-toe game with a couple options for the tokens to play with.

Here’s a thumbnail of some of the pages….

All images are from internet sources and believed to be public domain.

Transportation

In my group right now, we’re having a month long transportation theme.  I found the idea for the first item while browsing the internet, but unfortunately don’t remember where I found it.  I’m in no way taking credit for the original concept of this game, but knew that I wanted to use it with this theme.

The first item is what I’m calling Modes of Transportation Front & Back 3-Part Puzzle Cards.  Each card has the middle section of a mode of transportation.  The player has to find the front and back of that mode of transportation to complete the puzzle.  Wouldn’t it be fun to make silly transportation too and swap out pieces??

Next are some transportation cards.  These can be used as flashcards, or used to play games like “Transport Me” (a transportation version of “Go Fish”) or concentration/memory, as well as many other things.  There’s also a storage box included.

Finally, I made a huge set of transportation letter tile mats.  There’s so many, that there’s 3 downloads!!  There’s also an answer key for some images that one might not recognize.

Here’s a thumbnail view of some of the parts to this transportation theme….

Groundhog Day

I’m finally back with some printables to share.  In honor of today being Groundhog Day, I thought I’d break out some of my older creations for this event that haven’t been shared in quite some time.

There are 2 puzzles.  The “Daily Nooz” is 9 pieces and the groundhog puzzle is 24 pieces

There is also a groundhog memory game that includes clipart and images of groundhogs and Groundhog Day.

Finally, there’s Groundhog Playground, which is a file folder game (ffg) that can be played just for fun on Groundhog Day, or even all winter long.  If you swap out the cards that are included and replaced them with some of your own, you could use the game to work or review a certain skill that the kids are working on.

All clipart and images are from internet sources and believed to be public domain.

Here’s a thumbnail view of some of the elements of the Groundhog Day printables….

If you’re interested in these Groundhog Day activities, please just…..

If you use my FREE printables, please leave a comment and let me know how you and the little ones like them….or don’t like them. I’d also appreciate it if you’d click the button below once a day to vote for my blog. I love feedback and create by the input that I receive….thanks!!
