Stock Photos and Images

I’ve been on the hunt for stock photos for awhile. I’ve found some really good free ones, but it’s always tricky with them. Pricing stock photos is outrageous!!

Well, I found a solution for that.  Let me introduce you to….

UPDATE:  Although I was given permission to use these stock photos and vectors for commercial use in the things that I sell, not everyone has received the same answer.  It’s still a great deal, but I suggest that if you’re at all interested that you personally contact them with the way you want to use them.  After you get a reply, be sure to keep it for your records!!

My Lenten Promise Activity

I know that I haven’t had anything special for you all lately.  Now that I’m starting my blog on my own domain, I think it’s time to get back on track!!  I have something for all of you, my loyal readers and followers.

This is a freebie for Lent.  I know we’re now into Holy Week, so there’s not much time left to use this.  However, it’s a great activity for the religious classroom or at home with the family.  This is a set of journal pages or a writing activity.  They come in 2 types of lines for a variety of ages/grades.  

You can write your promises on the lines for each aspect of Lent….prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.  It can be done daily, weekly, or just once during the Lent season.

Hello to My New World!

It was time for change and improvements, so here it is!!  This is my new blog and this is where you can find me from now on.  You’ll find everything that you used to find at The Schoolhouse, but now it’s here and it’s called The Treasured Schoolhouse.  

The main upgrade or change was that I’m no hosting on my own domain.  No more down time or other issues!!  I didn’t even change the design of the blog so that everyone can still recognize it.  Besides, I like the simple design.

I don’t have a blog button yet, but it’s being made for me now.  It’ll be here soon!!  I’m excited about all the changes and the possible growth.

Favorite Things: February

This month’s Favorite Things is all about the grade that you teach. I teach 4 & 5 year olds, which is usually PreK – Kindergarten. They’re the ones that nobody really wanted, but I do so love them!!

Here’s my Favorite Things about my littles….

FavoriteThings Feb16 - TheSchoolhouse I really wouldn’t trade my littles for anything!! They’re quite the crew each year and they keep me on my toes. I just love it when they come back and I get to see the changes in them. I do love being their first experience with many things!!
