For today’s freebie, I have some 3-piece puzzle strips for CVC words. There’s a good variety of words and puzzles. I made them with the vowel red and the constants in black. Hopefully these will help the kids learn their CVC words and practice their skills.

Today, I’m offering Baited Words. These are mats/game boards for CVC words and there’s 2 variations for this game!!

For version 1, the player will get a CVC object card and place it on the mat. They will then use the fish hook letter to spell out that CVC word.

With version 2, the player will get a CVC object card and place in on the mat. Then, they will place the CVC word next to the object on the mat.

Please be sure to download the corresponding printable pages that you will need for the version of the game that you’re using. For version 1, download ffg mat 1, CVC hook letters, and the CVC objects. If you’re downloading version 2, get ffg mat 1, CVC words, and the CVC objects.
