Filling Requests

I had a couple of ladies contact me about updating some files of mine that they wanted to use of mine.  They had some special requests and I was thrilled to do it!!  I have to give them a huge “thank you” as well because they were so patient.  Since they were older printables, it took me awhile to locate the original documents….and then life just sort of happens too.  Not to mention the big blog move!!

Special Request clip

Anyways, here they are…..

First, I was asked to add the numbers 101-120 to my Patriotic Calendar Set.  It already went to 100, but because of changes in the curriculum, she now teaches to 120, so she needed the extra numbers.  To get to the original calendar set blog post, just click here.  If you’re interested in the added numbers, you can click here to download them.

She also needed the Patriotic Counting Chart updated to 120.  The original went to 100 and if you’re interested in that, you can click here to get to the original blog post.  For the new chart to 120, just click here to download it.

Next, I had a Clifford Calendar Set.  I was asked to make the days of the week the same size as the months.  If you’re interested in the original Clifford:  The Big Red Dog calendar set blog post, just click here to download.  If you’re interested in the larger days of the week, click here to get them.

**PLEASE NOTE: Clifford the Big Red Dog and Friends books, TV show, and characters are by Norman Bridwell, PBS, and Scholastic © Scholastic Inc. – I in no way lay claim to ownership of the character, images, books, or anything else pertaining to Clifford.**

That about covers it!!  I hope that this is what you ladies needed and that they just might benefit other readers as well.  If anyone else has any special requests, please don’t hesitate to ask.  Just be prepared to be as wonderful and patient as these ladies were as my family and life always comes first!!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you enjoy the updates.  If you use my printables, please leave a comment or use the “contact” button in the right hand column.  I’d also appreciate it if you’d take a second to click the button below to vote for my blog.  I appreciate it and I continue to create by the feedback that I receive!!

Mrs. Wishy Washy

Yes, I’m finally back!!  I know I haven’t posted in forever, but it’s just been plain busy.  I needed to take a break from blogging and focus on other things, but I’ve had so much going on, that getting caught up or relaxing wasn’t even part of it.  I’m here now though!!

mrs-ww-cover-DISCONTINUED

I had a member of my group ask me to make some printable for Mrs. Wishy Washy and I was happy to do that for her.  She’s a great lady and I consider her an online friend.  There’s one more thing that she’d like me to make, but not sure if or when I’ll get to it.  If I do, it’ll be a set of jigsaw puzzles for little hands.

But, for now, I have these to share with you all!!  There’s a set of alphabet flashcards and alphabet match 2-part card where upper case is matched to lower case.  I also made a set of kindergarten Dolch sight word flashcards.

You’ll also find a pull and retell the story printable.  It’s one of my favorites!!  There’s also a set of characters that can be used for stick puppets or felt story pieces.  Finally, there’s a set of word wall cards with all the characters and items from the story.

If you’re interested in any of these printables, please just click on the Mrs. Wishy Washy book cover above to be taken to the download folder.

NOTE:  Mrs. Wishy Washy is written by Joy Cowley and is illustrated by Elizabeth Fuller.  I in no way lay claim to the book, the characters, or anything else pertaining to Mrs. Wishy Washy.  These printables are not for profit and are for educational purposes only!!

If you use any of these printables, have any requests, or just want to let me know how you used them, feel free to leave a comment and let me know. I’d also appreciate it if you’d click the button below to vote for my blog. (You can vote ONCE a day!!) I also have a “contact” button in the right column. I enjoy receiving feedback and I create by the input that I get, so thank you in advance!!

Snowy Ten Frame Match

It’s a new week and a new freebie!!  Is it me or is time going by really fast??  We’re already coming up on mid-month and we just started this new year!!

Today, I have a ten frame activity for you.  The snowflakes in the ten frame are counted and matched to the snowman numeral and number word.  I like to include both the numeral and number word because I really think it helps with association.  I did these with the numbers 1-20 so you can use as many or as few of the cards as needed.

Here’s a thumbnail view of parts of this activity….

Snowy Night Alphabet Match

It’s time for a freebie!!  This one features a beautiful background with cute snowman and matching snowflakes.  Seems fitting for this time of the year!!

This game is Snowy Night Alphabet Match.  For this file folder game (ffg), the snowflakes with the slower case letters are matched to the snowmen with the upper case letters.  As the child becomes more proficient with matching them, you could use a timer to see how quickly they can make their matches.

Here’s a thumbnail view of of the game….

Baby Bubble Shapes

Today, I have another game from the depths of my files!! I was so happy when I found this one and the previous one because I remember when I made this one and how much I loved these adorable little tub babies!!

For this file folder game, shapes filled with tub babies and bath items are matched to shapes floating in the bubbles on the game board.  This one will take some ink because I put the background behind the objects as well as the shapes so that when the game board is filled in with all the proper shapes, it also fills in the missing spaces and fills in the bubbles.  I don’t know if that makes sense or not!!  HAHA

Here’s a thumbnail view of of this game….

Babies, Bubbles, Quacks, and Shapes

Today, I have something from the depths of my files!!  This one is what could be considered a “classic” in the printables world.  I was so happy when I found it because I remember when I made this one and how much I loved these adorable little tub babies!!

For this file folder game, each baby in a tub has a shape on it.  The shape word that’s on the rubber ducky is matched up to the baby in the tub that it belongs to.  I also added the shape words of rhombus and ellipse for those that don’t use diamond or oval.

Here’s a thumbnail view of parts of this game….

Thanksgiving Harvest Calendar Set

Hot off the presses is a calendar set of November.  It has a Thanksgiving harvest theme and features some really adorable clipart.

This set includes dates for 1-31 with extras like “holiday”, “Thanksgiving”, “no school”, and more.  There’s also years from 2012-17 so that it can be used well into the future.  The month is not just for November, as I also made one for October.  I just had to do that since I have so many online friends in Canada and they celebrate their Thanksgiving in October.

In addition, there’s a set of “yesterday was”, “today is”, and “tomorrow will be” strips.  The calendar days fit perfectly on these….and the whole set should fit nicely on your bulletin board or pocket chart.

Here’s a thumbnail view of parts of the calendar set….

Layers and Animals of the Rainforest

We had a “challenge” in my group for the rainforest theme.  I created this file folder game (ffg) for my members.  Players will label the 4 layers of the rainforest.  They will also sort animals into the 4 layers where they spend most of their time.  I wasn’t able to create a worksheet to accompany the game, but an answer key for the ffg is provided.

Here’s a thumbnail view of parts of the game….

All the images are from internet sources and believed to be public domain.
